the one

For me,blog is a place where I can spend quality time to know more about myself.How?simple.Only while writing I can understand what i am, as this makes me think in different, incoherent, lateral, inconcurrent as many ways as I can, which I seldom do.This space is more about expressing myself.

"One night @ the call center"

I guess chetan bhagat would make a better bollywood script writer than a book writer.I sometimes feel that he is writing all these books just for some director or producer in bollywood.this master story teller can use all his talent for better things in life. But i can tell you people one thing for sure he has got great imagination.

Let me come to the story. This story is about 6 people working together at a call center in gurgoan(CCC - call center capital).i wonder what job on earth is available for a retired ex-service man,in a call center.Anyway this is a novel so anyting chelega. The introduction to the story is one of the most boring on earth. But as the story unfolds u can't take u r hands off the book, trust me.As I said earlier, the idea of choosing one character from the story to narrate the entire novel is really a cool idea. The kind of characters chetan presents, they are like u know our daily character.I mean everyone body can relate them selves with those characters.

The protogonist in his 2nd book is shyam. He can be awarded Mr.Loser of the world title.Anyway i personelly feel we can find such people one in every 5 people,if not in the entire world atleast in the call centers. And vroom Mr.daredevil of all the five(read six). And then there are three girls or i must super ladies.Anyway i wonder if this is the way(as was shown in the book) gals working in BPO really behave or i mean has such attitude and life(i don want to talk much abt their story). One more point abt chetan's naration.he gives beautiful description of women and there type of thinking. The main theme of the story is how these 5 people achieve things they always wanted to but could not because of some confidence related problems.ghosh!!I always forget this 6th person in the story(trust me even u will not remember this character much). This old man lives with his wife.He used to live with his son and his son.But unfortunately, his son does not like this old man's "old" thinking so he moves to another place and so do this old man works in a call center!!!

The story moves in a typical bollywood masala movie style.I may be saying this all the time but greatness of chetan is that he binds you with such stories only.Like in five point someone, here also we have a villain, the BOSS.This man has a bigger role than our hero. This man is the blood sucker of this team( yes this 6 people are one team with no team leader).vroom and shyam come out with a project working for days and wants thier manager - Mr.sucker to present that proposal to the client. But again in a bollywood style he claims that as his work.

This makes vroom feel nuts. And our shyam as usual blames his bad luck and moves on.Now comes twist of the life.feeling bored of the things happenned that night, all the 6(this time i got it right) go out for a ride at 3:00 am in the morning(s do not rub your eyes this is true as per the story). They get struck in a construction site becouse of the smart thinking from our daredevil(vroom says he knows a shortcut). Then comes our saviour- GOD.He makes them relialize what they are missing in life and helps them think what they should do to achieve what they wanted.

Here comes the climax.time to teach our Mr.sucker how bad it is to suck others blood(in the mean while one story does rounds - lay off).So vroom along with his team mates prepares a master plan to get rid of his boss and also to save their firm from lay off.The story ends on expected notes.Chetan gives it a happy ending(otherwise producer saab would feel bad about it).

One gets the feeling that so many things cannot happen in one night unless it is in a movie - "more than one night @ the call center " would have been a better title.
