chalthi rahi mera ILP.......
Hey!I forgot to talk about one more guy.Two guys karunkar and sri krishna had great sense of humour..I really mean it..very practical and natural in approach. We cracked jokes on each other...we palyed pranks..many things..do not remember much to list them down.Things just got better with added flavour(when those two girls also joined the fun).We boys were sitting like as if orders were passed not to talk to girls. But they were the one who first initiated the communication(one of the girls later became my team mate in our project in ILP).We played hell a lot of games....hmm i think this is getting dragged with lot of scrap(r u recollecting something in mind hmmm hmm MCH naaaah) I hope not....lets move on...
We had company of three other people in AC compartment. They also have to report in TVM .....but they opted for AC(ofcourse we also went into AC compartments every now and then). Finally we reached our destination(TVM) on 11th feb,2006.TVM is a relatively small city, in the sense we humas(atleast theoritically speaking) expect lot many things about a state capital(am I trying to be over ambitious..;) ).All the while when I was in TVM I never really saw much activity in TVM,not much vehicular traffic even.I havn't seen people really going out or having any active night life.Well, that was a gud idea I thought(god's country after all so not much noise I suppose).
We checked into the TCS executive hostel on the same day of our arrival(the picture shown above is our hostel). It was a good accomodation I must say bacause look at it..it looks just like any 2 * or 3 *r hotel.Life at hostel was very zestful- I do really mean it.The rooms were on a twin sharing basis but very spacious with all facilities. As days passed on we got along with each other very well.We got to know about their mentalities, outlooks and wits. One particular trait I noticed is that they feel happy and excited when anybody from south speaks in hindi.I guess they think that people from south cannot speak any other langauge other than their native.Ofocurse we hyderabadis had no problem speaking in hindi.I think that is one of the primary reasons why we got so well with all of them.
Hey!I must tell you one thing. This is the first time in my life I ever stayed out of my house for so many days that to never had a hostel experience.May be that is the reason I am feeling more exhilrating while writing this blog.To talk about my life at hostel..it was cool and out of my routine life.We had a canteen,a general store and also a laundry at our hostel. Our traning timings used to be from 9 to 5:30. We used to leave our hostel at 8:30 am.Bus journey from hostel to campus was for about 5 minutes(so we could only listen to one full song).Particularly night life at hostel was something different and worth. Most of them never sleep before 12.It may sound normal but even when the day was hectic,we used to gossip for hours. It was never boring and tiring. We had to call it off as we had to go to office, next day.
Food served at our hostel canteen was not worth mentioning.Thing is that every curry tastes same and it was possible only to those guys to prepare such dishes on earth(also food was not that cheap). So some times we used to go out as there were around 3 resturants and one dhaba. The food was relatively good there, even though it is bit expensive.Ofcourse for everything bad we had to experience, we prepared our minds saying that this is only for 40 days.Days passed on like water from a hill top to the pond at the bottom tip of hill(could not get it was something like that) .Initailly I felt schedules were bit boring and and packed with extraaaaaaaa stuff. Later on everything was fine.We had alternate saturday in our traning. So we were eagerly waiting for our saturday(holiday).
We visited places like kanyakumari(on the way back we also went to one waterfalls),munnar, alleppy(back waters), varakala beach(tcs sponsered picnic),veli beach, kovalam beach, padmabhan temple.
Every trip was different and special in it's own way.We really had great time during all this picnics.I found varakala beach better of the three. But I enjoyed waters of kovalam beach more as it is the one(of the three) into which I actually go.Munnar is really a beautiful place with all those valleys and hill tops.It is a poets apradise only romantic verses can describe a place like munnar. There were tea plantation(most of which is owned by TATA).Ghat road journey was simply superb, most memorable of all the road journeys i had taken till now.Well, alleppy is great too.Very relaxed and calm trip.we were there on the boat for abt 3 hours. It was like never ending flow of water ......all the way water,water,water..........just water.I was just very relaxed and was just thinking ,how can nature be so beautiful this always puzzles and trickles my grey matter.Particularly for oue city folks who are trapped in this mire for life.
would like to write more.....let me see if ...........
