First Gear

So long in US,still no account of what I have done till date....oh yeah! even if i am writing all the tales for no body's sake...when I do have a blog to write..does it not make a sense to write up something...come on cut the crap and start....here I go.

I landed here as a alien, that is what is written on the VISA!..oh..me alien..after living all this years as a respectable citizen in my country I came here to be called a alien!! I know I know what it means when somebody calls you a alien. Anyway...I checked into a hotel called Santa Ana Plaza Hotel. It sounded and looked like a 5 star hotel. But after getting into it, we recognized how unfortunate we were. Everything in America is not gold. Fact number one that i needed remember. Oh!then started the real fun. Cow milk... holy shit...I mean holy cow shit..i mean holy cow milk...drinking cow milk..that to cold ones..aaah...i literally had to close my nose and took whole glass of milk in just single gulp. When i was India, i was so averse to cow milk, i used to mind to take "theertham" also which has cow milk in it.And now here, I am drinking gallons of cow milk. God bless me!!

Of course as days went on...I started feeling it as good as Indian milk(read buffalo milk). Now eating everything that is made of cow milk....yeah it is good..i mean frankly, got used to this stuff..when you have another way, you have your way otherwise no other way. So things kept moving and there comes my first weekend in the USA. I have a friend in San diego..in fact had a friend...he is not in that place anymore..he called me up and we just quickly decided going to some place...so we zeroed on Universal studio..Oh that was exciting..the very first weekend and going to Universal studio...i was guessing how things would be there...would i see Spielberg shooting Jaws 3 or 4...or Jurassic park 4..ya you are right on target...bingo ...nothing turned out to be so grand..but yes..it was very good indeed...somebody coming from INDIA..universal studios...yes it is good..i liked it.

I let pass 2 weeks,and then came first long weekend.I never really planned big for long weekend,when i was in India. Oh i forgot to mention my friend name with whom i went to the studio. He is satish. so this time again, me and Satish along with one more friend Anand planned to go to Las Vegas.Yes Las Vegas. aaah....Vegas...place where the shafts of entertainment world converge and collide with each other to give every soul that exists in that part of the world a salvation of amusement. I do not know how correct is the sentence i just wrote, it just came on to my fingers and so i typed. What a place it is...I do not know if anything, so extravagant exists in other parts of the world...but this place...it is so spectacular...simply takes your body and soul out of this world for the entire time one stays there. Sheer beauty of the casinos can make anybody stand up and take notice.

Hey i had a surprise!...My friend satish told me that we will be going to Grand Canyon. No...i did not know about it, when we started to Vegas. He said ,wanted to give me a surprise. Spare me the horror, i am not his girl friend and definitely not his boy friend, in this part of the world.ha ha ha...Anyways we went to the Grand Canyon and it truly is GRAND. It is the THE Grand Canyon.We went for the sunrise. It is here where i had saw snow/Ice for the first time in life. Of course it was not much but still could see some snow, my first time,live. We drove around all the view points, i mean almost all. That is it...we drove back home. That was quite a experience. More stories would follow about more trips....
